When I celebrate Fiestas Patrias I liked to go
out to fondas, especially in Parque O´Higgings , eat empanadas, dance cuecas or
cumbias, but I haven´t back in long time because they are very expensive!! So, now I prefer go to folkloric parties that
organizes my commune (Maipú) because these have more variety of show, drinks
and food are cheaper (the entry cost only $1000!) and you have a very good time
anyways.
Last year I went to Fiestas Patrias show in Maipú
in the Municipal Pool, which is a bigger compound. I went with my mom, my mom´s
partner and a friend of me. When we were inside of the pool, we walked for the
stands of drinks, food, crafts and typical games (we didn´t participate in
neither of them). Then, we went to principal stage and we saw some contest and
many folkloric groups showing typical dances of the different zones of Chile, and
typical dances of Latin-American countries, that was a very beautiful show.
After a
while, I and my friend went to buy Terremotos and fried chips, we started to
talk stupid things, laughing between us. Then, we returned to where my mom and
her partner and we started to dance some cuecas and cumbias (very fun).
I really enjoyed these Fiestas Patrias show because was different to what had
celebrate, I loved the folk groups and I share these experience with people which
isn´t very close to my family and I had better than ever.
I love this time of the year!!!, ist the best!!!, i like the fondas to n_n
